The Rossmoor Park Community Room and kitchen can be individually reserved for your private event. Outdoor recreational activities include tennis, baseball, softball, volleyball, and soccer. Colorful playground equipment is available for the youngsters to enjoy. BBQs, picnic tables and lots of shade make for the perfect outdoor experience.

Rossmoor Park is best known for its tennis courts and softball fields, which are extremely popular with various youth organizations. Field usage and scheduling is coordinated by our Recreation Department. Some requests will require General Manager approval. See our fee schedule (Under Forms) for pricing details.

During the summer months, the Rossmoor Park Community Center is home to the Los Alamitos Youth Center Summer Day Camp, which is cosponsored by the RCSD. Many local children benefit from the exceptional summer programming filled with field trips, arts and crafts and plenty of fun and educational activities. The R.A.S.C.A.L.S. After School Program, also managed by the Los Alamitos Youth Center, is popular with local youth. Visit their website for details.

The Children's Garden Preschool is also held at the Community Center at Rossmoor Park. More information about the preschool can be found under the Programs menu to the left.

REFUND POLICY

An application processing fee will be required to be paid at the time the User Permit is submitted and all other required fees, in accordance with Policy 6015, must be paid at least 10 calendar days prior to the scheduled request or the request is invalid and will be canceled. If the request is canceled you will be refunded any deposits (if applicable), less the applicable service fees. Permit processing fees, cancellation fees and change fees are nonrefundable. At the termination of the User Permit period, all applicable deposits shall be returned to the renters within a reasonable time period (minimum of 14 business days) for processing payment and to determine if all security deposit conditions have been met. The General Manager shall have the discretion to determine if all or only part of a deposit shall be returned based on his/her assessment of the condition of the building or facility at the end of the fixed period of time. Fees and deposits paid within (10) calendar days of the scheduled event must be via credit card or in cash.
